The Business Renewal Program has seven activities:

1. Counsel on Current Business
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16) |
When requested by the client, MBA Advisory will render Scriptural and sound business recommendations regarding vital on-going business matters.
2. Renewal of Business Policy
Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom's instruction. (Proverbs 29:18) |
In this activity, the business is given guidance on discerning and developing the following business documents:
a. Articles of Dedication (Matthew 6:33)
This is a document where the business owners formally dedicate the business to the Lord.
b. Vision Statement (Isaiah 46:9-10)
This defines what the Lord wants the business to become.
c. Mission Statement (Philippians 3:14)
This delineates the long term plans needed to attain the vision. |
3. Evaluation of Business Systems
Be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians 4:23-24) |
This activity involves reviewing and renewing business systems and operations with the three-fold objective below.
a. Cascade Vision & Mission Statements (Hebrews 12:1-2)
MBA Advisory helps the business owner align the company's business plan and functional strategies with its renewed Vision and Mission Statements;
b. Develop a Culture of Godly Business Excellence
(Jeremiah 33:3)

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:11-13) |
MBA assists the client to develop the necessary plans needed for business success. This activity involves:
a. The Role of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26)
MBA advisory guides and encourages the business owner to develop a personal relationship and friendship with the Holy Spirit.
b. Change Management Program(Philippians:1:5-6)
This will guide the client in the process of managing changes necessitated by the integration of Biblical principles with the business organization and systems.
c. Renewed Business Plan (Isaiah 55:8-9)
As an effect of the evaluation of business systems, a new business plan is developed. This will chart the path for real business success and complete prosperity.
d. Contingency Planning Program (Romans 28:8)
MBA helps develop a Bible-based Contingency Planning System for management control, and potential problem analysis.
e. Business Excellence and Quality Program (Matthew 5:48)
As an optional program, MBA can help develop a Scriptural quality management program with the goal of making the business the best business for its size and industry. |
5. Organizing for Success
The LORD will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. (Psalms 85:12) |
MBA helps the client marshal and organize the company's five Ms - Manpower, Money, Materials, Machines and Methods –so that the plans laid out are properly and successfully implemented in a manner consistent with Biblical principles. The key elements of this activity are:
a. Functional/Departmental Operating Plan (Psalm 112:1-3)
MBA assists in the development of functional or departmental operating plans and strategies that will help ensure that all plans are accomplished and are aligned with the renewed business vision and mission.
b. Scriptural Problem Solving Principles (Jeremiah 33:3)
MBA assists in establishing and applying Biblical problem-solving principles to address and resolve operational problems that may be encountered during the implementation of the plans and strategies.
c. Put on Jesus Christ(Romans 13:14)
MBA helps in the planning and development of an authentic Christian identity and image for the company. |
6. Claiming Rewards
The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you. (Deuteronomy 28:8)

In this activity, the business is counseled on how to successfully claim the awe-inspiring business rewards that the Lord has promised to companies dedicated to Him and managed using principles of business renewal. The rewards programs include:
a. Assurance of business profitability (Matthew 6:33)
If the company is well-organized to be faithful to its Mission and Vision Statements, it will consistently glorify God in all aspects of its business and therefore, it can be a channel of blessings to the owners of the business.
b. Rewards of Obedience (Deuteronomy 28:1-14)
The business is counseled and positioned to unswervingly seek the Lord's good, pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2) and consequently, it will be exceptionally qualified to receive the rewards of obedience in Deuteronomy Chapter 28: market leadership (v 1,3), productivity and efficiency ( v 4,6,8,11), business Leadership (v 9-10), financial Leadership (v 12), and business growth Leadership (v 13-14).
c. Sharing God's Love (Mark 10:29-30)
As the company is guided to develop programs for sharing God's love to its various stakeholders (owners, management, employees, customers, markets, suppliers, creditors, debtors, the local community, and government) it will be entitled to the fantastic Biblical promise of returns on its investments of time, talent, and treasure. |
7. Ministry of Profits
But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. (Deuteronomy 8:18) |
MBA provides Scripture-based advice on how to manage the funds from accumulated earnings due to the owners, as faithful and far-sighted stewards of the Lord.
a. Business as a Channel of the Lord's blessings (Proverbs 11:25)
The business will be advised and encouraged to accept a special role as a channel of God's blessings. Proverbs 11:25 says that "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." This means that if a business will agree to bless those who the Lord wishes it to bless, then the Lord will continuously bless it.
b. Stewardship of Business Profits (1 Timothy 6:10-11)
MBA will help the business owners develop a Biblical stewardship framework to manage the blessing of profits. The framework will involve the following financial variables:
a. Blessing the Lord ( Psalm 102:3-5)
b. Debt management (Romans 13:18)
c. Investments (2 Corinthians 9:6-10)
d. Christian accommodation (Deuteronomy 28:12)
e. Lending to the Lord ( Proverbs 19:17)
f. Business Expansion (Proverbs 21:20)

It ought to be pointed out that business renewal is not an overnight fix. Rather, it is a long term process. Companies allow the Lord to grow it into one of excellence and success. It eventually becomes the best business it can become, as it is "inwardly being renewed day by day" (2 Corinthians 4:16) and as it "puts on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator" (Colossians 3:10).
The renewing of an enterprise, trade or corporation entails mentoring and counsel. It is a demanding transformation and reengineering process where scriptural management principles are integrated and implemented and, as the Lord is glorified, business success follows. "Plans are established by seeking advice; so if you wage war obtain guidance," says Proverbs 20:18.
Renewal is championed by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, renewed business becomes an active part of the movement of the Holy Spirit to institute Kingdom Economics in the marketplace. (Psalm 104:30)
